Teal (GWP), Dotty (English Setter)

Have been doing a bit of training on the grouse with Dotty and Teal, who are doing really well. Dotty is coming along a lot slower than Teal, even though she is a couple of months older. She has been a really interesting dog to train as she is my first setter. She's incredibly biddable but VERY sensitive and very easy to make mistakes with her.

They are great pics - I can see the first one, but have to click on the link.

Dotty is a really beautiful dog. I am sure she will turn into a smashing worker. Teal seems to be the whole package

Lovely pics - sounds like Dotty is getting there - they are so very sensitive about things aren't they! She is a beautiful girl and Teal is just gorgeous as well!

lol, you're too quick again, just sorting out another pic but I think you've seen it before.

I've started to get really nervous about training Teal as she has done so well up to now, I don't want to make any mistakes. I really need to push her and can't decide whether to take her grouse beating tomorrow or not. It can either go horribly wrong or be totally the right thing to do!

She is incredibly sensitive Rachel. You wouldn't think it in day to day life but she is.

You will do what's right Helen, you seem to have a natural way with your dogs.

I have seen the Teal pic before, but loved seeing it again. She looks sooooo focused! What a dog!
