Thanks everyone. The lambs all seem to be doing okay at the moment (although with pet lambs you can never tell ) but thankfully all the lambs being born on the Hill at the moment seem to be doing well Fingers, toes and everything else crossed that it continues.

I know Fiona - Ben is growing soooo quickly!

Sorry to hear that you have a lot of orphaned lambs. Not sure how bad it is where I live, don't really have a lot to do with the shepherds. I know that other shepherds have been having problems, especially with that snow we had at the beginning of april.

I showed your lambs to my 2 year old sister, and she said 'Lambys, I love Lambys.'

She thinks its fabulous that you have all these lambs and she is very jealous. She asked Mum if we could go to the countryside to see some lambs please.

x

Thankfully lambing is going a little more smoothly now and the ewes that are having singles seem to be far better equipped to look after and rear them. We still have an abundance of pets to feed, but have unfortunately lost a few (which is inevitable really).

My fave lamb, Adam, is doing well. He is called Adam as he has a white stripe across his nose that reminds me of Adam Ant I think I will get Allan to castrate him and I will keep him as a pet
