Old people should definitely be banned from Morrisons on a Monday evening.

Considering the way some people let their kids run around screaming, rushing dogs, hitting them and pulling their tails I suggest all kids be kept on a 4 foot leash with their hands tied behind their back.

I do have to muzzle my dog sometimes, but it doesn't stop idiots with uncontrolable offlead (unmuzzled) dogs letting them run up to my on lead muzzled dog and terrorise her!

I say what a silly idea!

I agree that there is a Stigma about muzzled dogs that needs to be changed - Muzzling can be a good option in some cases - but I would be upset if my guys had to be Muzzled in public all the time -

I spend a lot of time training them to carry something so thier mouths are full all the time ( achieves the same purpose!)

In short no and I would be prepared to fight that if it was made law, my dogs are too friendly... they adore people and other dogs. No my babes will not be muzzled unless there is a health issue (i.e at the vets if in pain...)

Agree with ClaireandDaisy though... excellent post!

No way. I'd just walk him in the woods that are a 5 minute drive from us.

How would that lunatic suggestion be enforced anyway. Do dog wardens stop people leaving dog c**p in the middle of footpaths now? No. A bigger problem imho.

I have muzzled my dogs in the past as one of the farmers wanted them muzzled incase they hurt a deer, and I oblieged and mine didn't mind and I didn't mind they still had great walks, as long as its a basket type muzzle its fine imo and I think that its more the owners who are put out by it, as long as its not muzzled and on leads, as that would restrict a dog, but when muzzling mine and they were running off lead we had no restrictions at all, and the dogs got excited to see the muzzles come out, just like they do when they see their coats or leads.
