Horse Talk

Goodness Im so pleased this is here. Been a long time for me being here. Thanks Azz

Im getting a new saddle this year and its a bain in my life finding the right one.
Anyone got any clues on the best/comfiest to fit a cob and long legged rider?
Dont want to spend too much money on getting professional fitter but as I spend all my life in the saddle I want to get comfier than I am now being tilted in a 16 half.

its sooooooooooo comfy not just for you but for the horse as well if you have one properly fitted, cant recommend one enough, you can get some really nice GP ones. Lol you don't need suede for grip Im sure your fine without it

Yes I used to have one.. personally with such requirements , and how long you spend in the saddle I would have one fitted to fit you both.

Ive been trawling the internet today trying to find the saddle I had as a child, it was soooooo comfy, eventually I finally found after looking at a million saddles. It was a Collegiate but there doesnt seem many about.
So I did a google search for saddlers & fitters and found quite a few round about me, I then googled each and checked horsey forums for feedback on them and have brought it down to one which is recommended and trusted. So am a woman on a mission.
Thanks for the input I'll keep you posted.
