Me too. I'd love to have another bird one day, but poor Carew was such a broken little boy, he needed more cuddle time to tame him, more than I could give. Even when I was away for just 5 hours, it would be like we were back to square one again when I got home.

I know he is getting all the time in the world with the lady who rehomed him. She is registered disabled and wanted a companion bird. I rehomed him to her for free with cage, perch and gym.

I know Carew is happy now as he has started to talk and actually manages short flights on his twisted little wings. I couldn't be happier for him.. But I miss his little growl and the way he used to dive bomb me when he wanted me to carry him from perch to cage or back

Little bird, HUGE personality.

He/she is a little stunner and how he's grown your daughter should be very proud of herself, she's doing a great job (I can look today, no tears )

Is that a real Macaw in the background of the last pic

Oooooh, is Billy one of the parents??? (Not sure if "he" was male or female!!lol)

Baby birds always look like little alien dinosaurs to me, but they look sooooo cute when the feathers start to come through!! Congrats on your first Sennie Jackie!
