Please keep Sadie in your thoughts.

Sadie has not been very well lately, she's had diarrhea on and off for 2 weeks and has been in and out of the vets. When it wasn't diarrhea it was really hard like rocks and she was crying passing it, she has a very very sore bottom. Vet suggested some things so; she's been starved 24 hours, that didn't work, been on just chicken and rice which was no good, fish and rice, that didn't work, cut out the rice in case it was that, no good, meds didn't work and last 3 days she has had poo like pure liquid so she's in this evening again. Just really worried about her, she's 11 this December but shes a big dog (GSD/Greyhound X Ridgie). She's not able to hold herself at all and pooing inside daily which she is ashamed of, her spirits are really low and she's exhausted. She has been on anti-inflammatory and antibiotics the past week and they have made no change, probably made her worse tbh so just hoping for some answers. I assume he will take her bloods today and if not i'll push for it anyway, you probably know what i'm thinking, I don't even want to contemplate it.

Oh Kel, course we will think of Sadie, 11 is such a grand old age for a big dog..... and to be going through this with a sore bottom, poor girlie.
Let's hope it can be sorted.
xx

lots of hugs coming your way. If it is any consolation, I think there are a few tummy bugs around at the moment becuase of the weather etc. Have they taken a stool sample Kel?
