There've been loads of flutterbys here too, and bees Also flies and flying ants (less nice.) I don't know why the increase, but the UK climate has been unusual in a number of ways this year. I'll ask my dad about the biology/ecology, that's more his thing

yes we've got loads too but we thought it was our buddlia bush attracting them ,but your right they are bigger this year too ,hav'nt noticed more bees tho .
