Jasmine

Hi......Jasmine has had her litter, she has 6 healthy blue roan (possibly blue & tan) pups, 4 girls 2 boys. Sadly the last pup born was dead another little girl. Jasmine isn't too happy with her family at the moment, in fact I would say she is scared stiff of them! She does have milk, so it's just a case of reassuring her that they really are lovely babies!

Yes there were 7, but we have 6 very healthy hungry pups! Jasmine is lying on the floor as if to say 'they're not mine'........I did actually give them all one bottle feed, then put them on her, but she wasn't happy about it and soon got away. But I will carry on, maybe once the kids have gone to bed and it's quiet she may relax a bit more.

I have got a couple of photos, but photobucket seems to be down at the moment, but as soon as it's back up, I'll post!

Well Jasmine has been with her babies all night, I checked on her every hour or so, but she has really settled with them, she cleans them constantly and feeds them well. She didn't have much milk yesterday but the vet has assured me as long as they keep suckling, the milk will come in more! But they all seem happy and contented this morning, so they must have full tummies!
