So sorry to hear she's not so well. I was only thinking of her yesterday when you posted something on a thread.

As for forcing a prognosis from doctors, thats very hard to do, because no matter what they may think no one really knows.

There are certain 'certainties' with cancer, but not many. For instance I now know that once any cancer has spread to the liver you are talking less than a year in reality. But I can just imagine how my Mum would've coped if they'd actually told her that when her breast cancer spread to her liver.... she wouldn't have coped.

Whilst they are still treating your sister there is hope, as they don't do that unless there is the slightest chance it will work, and I'm not just saying that, chemo costs a lot of money! So sending lots of positive vibes her way.
