Help Is Ink toxic

Holly has just consumed a fair amount of ink from a black pen, can anyone tell me if its toxic, I have washed he mouth out but she will have swallowed some

What sort of pen is it ?

Is it water based ? or a permanent marker pen ?

I'm not sure either, all I know is I have swallowed the contents of a biro and I wasn't ill. (Don't ask!)

hi, I syringed her mouth out last night with a huge horse worming syringe full of water, looked on the net and couldnt find anything saying it was toxic, as there was still most of the ink in the pen and a fair amount on me, steven and the floor I thought she may not have injested that much, she is fine this morning, lol, but think she likes the taste of ink caught her with another one this morning, thing is I dont know where she is finding them lol, ya can never find a pen when you need one in this house, prob cause holly has them stashed somewhere, thanks for the posts guys,
