And there goes our deposit...

Shane and I went out last night (this doens't happen often..) and we decided to leave Ella at home and see how it goes. When we got home from our night out, we found this:

Silly Ella must have panicked and tried to get out of the flat.. It doesn't help that the neighbours frequently fight and slam doors. But there's a real difference between night and day, as she's fine being left during the day now. Next time we'll get a sitter

Oh dear!
Poor Ella - hope she calmed and settled down quickly when you got back (and you had a nice time while it lasted!)

She was well happy when we got back lol. She's fine now and she spent all Sunday morning in bed with us so she can't complain!
Yeah it was a brilliant night, but I'm definitely getting older as now I feel like death.. I remember when I was at uni I did nights like this every week! Now I can barely go out every few months

Florence you had a good time and that's what counts!

Now that isn't a very big area for you to get a remnant and recarpet is it?

I'm glad you don't sound cross with your dog. I'd be wondering what it might have been that 'spooked' her to make her so frantic.

It's only a carpet! No one died!

Yeah, we live on a busy road where on Saturday nights a lot of drunk people wander about. So it could have been that, plus the neighbours downstairs, plus the fact we've not left her for that long at night before, plus anything else. She's a complex little thing. But I know it's not her fault and we'll sort something with the carpet, it's old and ugly anyway!

Haha it's actually supposed to be red but about 20years old so very washed out.
Maybe she did mean to tell me it's time to refurbish

She did a good job on it! But then it's that stupid carpet that 'unravels' like knitting isn't it? Decent bit of Wilton would have stood a chance lol!

Looks like the carpet decided to give in gracefully.

Shame she is spooked I assume you already leave the TV on for her.
