Its really happening.

Gorden is off to Kazakhstan beginning of September.

References applied for and given and he has had an email asking for him to scan through his passport and teaching degree. Contract should be with him by the end of the week.

How exciting and a bit scarey - what will you do in the meantime while he is away?

Congratulations, Gorden. The cash will be very handy and the experience amazing.

Remember, Lynn, absence makes the heart grow stronger and a healthy bank balance make it grow stronger still

Spend the money he earns. Get our eldest son to do the house up for us so plenty of wallpaper and paint shopping to do ready to put house on the market to move to be mortgage free.

The cash is the reason is he is going all that way. He is getting excited now and it will look good on his already good cv.

I keep thinking of the money Its how I am coping with it.

Congratulations to Gordon!

Great opportunity and as you say will look really good on the CV.

I know it will be hard but you are doing the right thing and focusing your attention on a very worthy project, getting your house ready to move so you will be mortgage free. What a fantastic thing that will be!

I am left on my own quite a lot now having spent 25 years of being together 24/7 which for us was lovely, but that's what keeps me going too. The thought of the end result and life being less stressful at the end of it all.x
