Rehab hospital not sending mum home.

Today after all.

The lady Gill and I met from social care phoned me earlier to let me know they contacted her to say they were withdrawing the discharge notice as she was not medically able to be released yet.

She is still suffering pain from the leg from when she fell and they are taking x-rays again and on the hip which was the initial concern when she was admitted to Basildon hospital then they changed their mind.

I wonder if they are also concerned about the liver scan ?
The social care worker will be liasing with the hospital and will keep me informed.

Sense at last.

Glad you didn't have to continue to make a fuss about this. You obviously know your mum better than anyone else and can judge whether she is fit and well enough to be left at home alone.

Phew Gilland I have heaved a sigh of relief I know Paul will too when he receives the message. I phoned Michael and even he said thats the best place for her for now.
