Tara the "Staffie"

My stepson came home one evening. Could he have a dog? We all talked about it and eventually said yes.
A week later little Tara came to us. She was only six weeks old and should have still been with her mother but her poor mum was worn out.
I was expecting my daughter at the time. I got things like "A Staffie and your having a baby" you better watch out!!

Anyway Tara used to sleep on my bump with her head on my sholder.
When I came home from the hospital I introduced Tara to Ceilidh, It was as if Tara already knew who she was.
When I put my daughter in the pram in the garden to have a sleep Tara slept at the side of the pram. Whenever my daughter woke up Tara used to come in and tell me.

Now thats a truley evil dog for you NOT

My Aunti has always had Staffs. When she became pregnant with twins she had 1 Staff male, by the time she was nealy due they got 2 bitches so they could grow up with the children. I have been down many times to see them all. The children (now 5yr old) can do anything with the 3 Staffs. It goes to show that they dont deserve the rep that people give them.

i agree, i have 2 staffys and 3 kids... my youngest son is 4 and they get on great
when my dogs play with him, they are gentle because they know hes only young....

however when i am on my knees in the garden and toy fighting with them myself, they almost drag me round the garden hahah
