Legal,but free music downloads?

This new laptop has a CD/DVD burner fitted and am thinking about downloading music to save onto disc.Anyone know of reputable sites which wont place spyware or bombard me with spam and dont charge a penny???

Never used anything like this before so will be asking for help again!

itunes music isn't free you pay about £3 a song
Kazaa lite & Limewire don't install spyware and the downloads are free

Make sure it's Kazaa lite and not Kazaa because that loads your system with spyware
