Film last night(Wednesday)

The film that was on last night with Jack Nichlson & Diane Keaton, I only watched up to the News break..........what happened? Anyone, please

Somethings gotta give......... sorry i only watched to the news as well....... if i remember correctly (seen it before years ago) he goes back to the city and leaves her there. . she gives him a jar of black pebbles with one white one in. later they meet up in the city by accident and get it together again. happy ending but i'm a bit fuzzy on what happened to the Dr????? sorry.
