I used to get terrible cramp in my thumb when stripping my rough Griffs, which is why I always preferred the smooth ones!

I have a few questions about stripping dog hair after reading that link. Is it really true that rough coated dog hair isn't attached like other types of dogs hair? That really can't be true can it?! Surely all hair grows out of hair folicles and is attached in the same way. Isn't that just a myth?!

The other thing is its states that stripping is the act of pulling out dead hair...but surely all hair is dead?!
