I am speechless...I know it's a rare event!

Spoke to the owner of one of our pups today, who obviously is totally smitten by him. He totally adores him.
He told me about him refusing to cross a road last week, no matter what he did he wouldn't cross, wouldn't budge from his kerbside sit...no way. He kept trying, then felt and heard a tram go by. Had the dog moved, they would have been killed. Obviously the dog had been trained to do that (teaching a dog to be incredibly obedient, yet disobey commands at crucial moments..how tough is that?) but to actually do it...it's the second time he's done it now.Amazing. He also said that he now knows all the bus stops and which bus stop where...as well as when it's time to get off!!!! They have been partnered for less than a year.
He rendered me utterly speechless. This dog was and still is when not working..a total nutter!!!

I am proud of that particualr pup, he has succeeded against all odds but when he told me I was just grateful he'd had him with him, had he been on his own I dread to think what would have happened.

It's so nice to know they really do make a difference and to hear just how much he is loved is wonderful.

I have a big soft spot for this boy, so that made it even more special, he made me fall in love with Flat Coats!

This boy almost didn't qualify as a guide..so it makes it all the better really as we knew just how capable and clever he was.

You should be very proud

What a great dog and what a good partnership he must have with his owner.

They are devoted to each other, totally. It's lovely.

I wasn't quite as proud when he descibed the dog's dancing talents.... All I'll say is I need to not be so daft when I'm in on my own with the dogs and I've stuck the music on loud!!!!!
