Your favourite item in your home (interior design)

Hi all, what is your absolutely favourite interior decoration item in your house? If you have a photo to post of it, that would be great!

My absolute favourite item/s in our house is our weather station LOL and also a large wall mirror made out of old reclaimed victorian floorboards - love it because of it's look and the thought of all the different eras of people who have walked upon it

Too hard to photograph the mirror though because of lighting - tried it but they didn't turn out

Would love to read & see your favourite interior design items

There isn't really much like that in my house!
I don't have the money for it!
But my fav thing so far is the shower room!
It was a tip, dirty etc, and we've done it all white, with a massive double shower & seat!

I love the little table and the wall lights my H made.
I would love wooden flooring and a huge book case to house all my books - but then I'd need a huge house plus library.
I LOVE :smt058 my computer (does that count?)

Oh, how to pick. The antique architects' chest, the old cedar table, the old oak sideboard, the huge mirror in the entrance hall, the floor to ceiling bookshelves in the study? Has to be the dogs sprawled in front of the fire - they add a certain je ne sais quoi

Yep 13' long, 8' high with cupboards underneath for the overspill, and built-in lighting, all made of glorious blackwood. Will see if I can find a photo for you The other lot are about 12' high, but ony 7 'long.
