My cottage, before and after pics

when we first brought it

what will be the general sit around and eat room

what will be the kitchen

heres how it is now, you have to ignore the walls, lots of plastering and studded walls still to be done, the bedroom has no floor yet so the sitting room is the bedroom for now, hubby made me all the wooden furniture, the staird and balcony, not finished yet.
the Kitchen

, he also made the new doors, stable door in back
the middle room, for eating in and lounging about

the living room/bedroom

hubby also made the fireplace

so he hasnt done too badly eh, i did a bit of painting lol, thanks for looking

Thankyou, its getting there slowly lol, we also put a bathroom in under the roof, we pulled out a load of old thatch, the bedroom will also be under the roof eventually, we are keeping the old tin roof for now till we can afford a new one, the tin roof is sound and we have put in lots of insulation. we had the range given to us, it heats the water and rads and i can cook on it too, does lovely yorkshire puds lol.

Oh my word, Sue! What a difference - hubby is just briliant, isn't he?

You must have both worked your butts off - very well done to you both - it looks just fantastic!
