I have the best husband ever!

I've been having a "low" day today. I think all the press interest has got me excited and now I'm on a come down ;o)

Honestly I just feel fed up with being unemployed, unable to find a job, no money, everyday is more debt, not getting the job seekers I SHOULD be getting and just not being able to live life. I mean I can't even go and get my hair done or drive an hour to see a friend for lunch because we just don't have the money.

I know I'm not the only one and there are those worse off than me and Lord knows I have tried to remain positive, happy, focused and upbeat but today I AM feeling sorry for myself.

Anyway, Neil came home at lunchtime (off to 2nd interview at a company in Oxford - fingers crossed for that) and announced that he's been doing a month of overtime, 30 mins a day, without me knowing so I can go and get my hair done!

Yeeeeeeeeeee ;o) Just the tonic to cheer up a sad girl!

What a wonderful husband I have, now I feel bad for moping ;o)

Hehe. Reminds me of that Burt Bacarach song "hey little girl, comb your hair fix your make up, soon he will open the door......for wives should always be lovers too...."

Sexist pig ;o)

awww bless what a lovely husband you have. not many partners would do that. just shows you how much he cares and understands what you are gonig through.

i too have just been handed my redundancy letter and have an extra month at work. after that i dont know what to do. i was thinking of taking 7 months off to take care of my baby until she is one years old. my baby being my puppy lol. you think employers would take that as a good excuse??? lol
