He’s a 6 year old Bedlington terrier gentleman

Digby is looking for a new home because his elderly owner is staying in hospital long term. A friendly gentle soul who is good with other dogs, strangers and children. He is toilet-trained, walks well on his lead and is well-behaved. He knows basic commands, although he occasionally likes to show his independence by ignoreing your requests.

Digby is a very gentle and calm dog with a sweet nature that makes him seem mature beyond his years. He loves to gently cuddle up next to you on the sofa - he loves his comfort so sleeping on sofas will be a must. He also craves tummy tickles, back scratches and generally being loved. He will need a minimum of one hour of off-lead exercise daily.

Digby’s new owner will have owned dogs before, ideally poodles or Bedlies. His previous owner rarely left him alone so he is looking for someone who will be at home most of the day and will treat him as part of the family. He would happily live with sensible older children and/or a dog confident cat.

Digby is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
