We usually go to Tentsmuir nature reserve at the weekends Janice, its great there the beach is huge, theres a forrest walk too and picknic area, loos and a swing park for the kids, you can spend all day there easy xx its up near leauchars...

I love Tentsmuir, but haven't been since the beginning of May.
Both dogs came home covered in ticks I stopped counting after I got to 20 on Dale and Chip was just as bad.

Were we just very unlucky or have you had any trouble there?
We did walk round through the forest and even sat for a bit on a fallen tree to picnic.

Oooooh ! nope I haven't had any bother, but May is a bad month for ticks though, we had loads on them when we were at the cottage in May...just an unlucky day I'd say...

Thanks Steph, Boabz and Emma are besta buddies, he suffers every nown then with a jippy tum but we know how to manage that, shes been very lucky having him, he is a real pleasure xx
