Never, I wouldn't even let him be with my dogs if I was there. However, I would be very interested in watching him first hand, both with his 'pack' and with clients dogs and I would be willing to invite him to see my lot and how they don't work as a pack!

Haven't you forgotten the slip lead with the noose fixed tight under the ears at the top of the neck held there by the other bit of the illusion collar ?? then you hold the lead loosely etc.

I think people are thinking this tssst thing is all he does, however on a few occasions I have witnessed that the sound is then followed quickly with a kick, nudge, jab and therefore the tssst has no meaning on it's own other than when the dog learns to associate the sound with a negative action and that is why it works and that is wrong. Someone has suggested that 'behind the scenes' the tssst is used with an e-collar so every time the dog hears a tsst it is shocked but that is not shown on the box, that makes perfect sense to me.

well why are you moaning about three threads then?

you can give your point of view on all of them

i really wondered who would be happy to let him have the dogs after the incident with the choke chain and treadmill.

i am quite surprised at the responses.

thanks for answering though.

So you don't REALLY know what he is like, or his dogs, or all his techniques e.t.c unless you have met him and observed him on a day to day basis, not pick clips, not a commercialised show that makes it look like he transforms dogs in a couple of days, we all know that's not how it goes when a dog has a serious issue as i'm sure does he.

But like it or not, he has actually saved dogs on many an occasion from death, but that's just not good enough I guess...
I have seen non professional footage shot by some friends, both in his old compound & elsewhere(quite a lot of footage not just a few minutes-ran into hours). The footage shows him Alpha Rolling, using the illusion collar, pinch collars etc & it is this footage that I base some of my thoughts of CM on. haven't yet seen any footage from his new place yet.

My friends remarked that cm's dogs never interacted together the way they would expect "pet"dogs to interact. They all appeared very quiet & subdued, which is ok, but in Siobhan's own words"they were more like automatons than living dogs"

They also filmed him with an alleged red zone GSD aged 6 months-this puppy was nothing more than a bored Kevin stage dog, however he did his usual ignore etc etc. He then applied the illusion collar, did an Alpha Roll pin down & took the dog for an hour run alongside of a cycle-bear in mind this is a 6 month old puppy so doG only knows what damage could have been done to the joints etc of the puppy. He then did the CM stance to stop the puppy owning the front door etc etc again using the illusion collar & after several hours claimed the dog needed to have this regime at least twice a day !! & he would return in a month to check up on the dog.

The next day the puppy could hardly walk & was very wary of anyone who tried to put the Illusion Collar on, he was very submissive rolling on to his back & weeing in submission !

I'm waiting for the next video to arrive. The dog belongs to a neighbour of my friends & won't be on the show as the dog wasn't enough in the"red zone"for their purposes. I just hope that all the exercise doesn't do permanent damage to the puppy.

Me too, when my dogs look at me, on their walks, its because more often than not, they are looking for that treat im my pocket...or in Bandits case, he has his nose permanently stuck IN my pocket..just in case one falls out... mind thats inbetween his obsessing with marking every fence/tree/gatepost/ and piece of paper he comes across.

Maybe I should start to tsssst and nudge him every time he does that , to prove I am "to be obeyed"

Thought about it......nope, will carry on and let my dogs be dogs and enjoy their walk!!!!!!
