Well, spend most of the night getting up to make Jake comfortable, he kept getting up and pacing round. Think he's a little sore. He scoffed his brekkie this morning, then went back to wondering round with a droopy look on his face. Food/treats are definitely what floats his boat!

Nope, given noting except a can of easily digestable food (As if his stomach is gonna be a problem! ) and a lampshade thingy incase he keeps licking at the wound, which he ain't. Am taking him back this afternoon though, because although he seems fairly happy, the wound is very swollen.

He's now got a course of anti-inflammatories and anti-biotics, just as a precaution. The swelling is probably just due to the fact that the wound is underneath, hence gravity causing fluid to build up...

Had quite an interesting visit to the vets. One thing I found out is that having an op hasn't put him off going... I parked the car and opened the door to put his lead on, but before I could grab him, he shot straight past me, through the door into the vet's and dissapeared behind the reception desk to get fussed over by anyone in sight!

Glad it's all progressing according to plan
Will you hold my hand later in the summer when Dinah is spayed?

That's great

Yeah a dog should be happy going to the vet's. Luna loves the vet.. Of course she get's treats there, so its fun going

I'm glad there's a logical explanation to the swelling, hopefully it will soon disappear
