Never had any adverse affects using Dontral on my dogs
Don't know if this could be related to your dogs sickness but there is a significant increase in Liver Fluke in rabbits ,it's attacking what appears to be healthy looking young rabbits sorry to be so graphic it's only when you open them you can see the white nodules on the liver other wise they appear heathy
Hope your dog gets better soon

My Amber was also sick after having Drontal back in February but she kept the next lot down. I am worried that I bought the Drontal off the webb that she sicked up the next lot she kept down I got them direct from the vet. Did you get yours from the net or from a vet? I have heard that some of these tablets you get off the net are not always what they are supposed to be.

Hello Amanda When did the vomiting start. While it isn't uncommon for a dog to vomit after being given a wormer I would not expect the reaction to last more than a couple of hours.
As you wormed the dogs on Thursday I would say there is something else involved here.

In an adult dog I would withhold food for 12 hours from the last vomiting and providing he is is not sick again just give tiny amounts of food every couple of hours.
I would make sure water is available while not allowing gulping lots in one go or it may come back. Better to put a small amount of water down and keep topping it up.

If the vomiting is excessive or continues for 24 hours a trip to the vet is advised unless this is a puppy then 12 hours. It is a good sign that the poo is normal.

As the weather is warm it is ideal conditions for bacteria to breed and scavenging dogs can pick up all sorts of things.
I hope he is better soon

I have always bought from my Vet even though it is more expensive, but at least I know what he gives her.
