Mibblemax is known to cause seizures in some herding breeds

it has, although i used to use it regularly with my collie and lurcher(collie x whippet)
the main difference is that drontal will not cover lungworm but milbemax will.

unlike intestinal worms lungworm can kill.
it is caught by eating infected slugs, snails or anything their trails have been on,toys, waterbowls grass etc
it is alot more common now than it used to be,one of my bitches had it a couple of months ago,we xrayed her chest just over a week ago at her spay...she has bronchitis prob as a cause of the lungworm, she had an old ladys chest

did you use milbemax before?
you could always use panacur at the recommended dose for lungworm if you didnt want to use milbemax because of the collie aspect.
i would leave it 4 weeks if you are really worried but unless there are symptoms or you are in a high risk area i would leave it 3 months as that is standard protocol if you are using non spot on preps(i use advocate monthly, and on my collie too)
