Oh you lucky, lucky thing, how sweet.
No I'm not but Daddy Sparrow is guarding the nest box, I suspect Mummy is sitting on eggs.

Awwwww

We had been feeding a robin over the winter at the stables..He used to come and sit on the feed bucket inside the stable if I didn't feed him quick enough..or sit on the stable door while we were grooming Tink..

Turns out he..is a she..and is now nesting in our hay store..at face level..she is sitting on 6 eggs..so I am feeding her on the ledge that her nest is on..

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww such cute babies, please keep us posted as to how they are getting on over the weeks xxxxxxxxxxxx We bought my father a bird table yesterday, so he can feed those birds that can't make it to the feeders and within an hour there were two Wood Pidgeons feeding on it xxxxx

Louise, any chance of pics of the Robin and babies (when they hatch) ..........??? Great if you could xxxxx

And Nippy , when your baby sparrows hatch .....pics too please.... if possible and the parents don't mind xxxxx

Awwwww you lucky, lucky thing, all mine are in my big thick hedge, loads of nests in there, but I daren't peek in too often to disturb them, but I see them darting in and out. I might put up some nest boxes next year so I can keep an eye on them. I hope you see them fledge Anne, but you'll have to be quick with these, they're just off so quickly, I've seen them before when they've left.
