You can do it Paddy parsonsmum is right, concentrate on the bright and responsive, she seems a real fighter and hopefully the oozing will stop soon.

Reading about Paddy and you is helping me feel a bit more positive about my dogs much smaller but still scary (to me, Im sure shes not bothered ) amputation on Monday so thank you for sharing her story xxx

Thank you all for your positive thoughts.
When the vet called yesterday he said he would only call us if they had concerns and basically no news was good news.. So no contact hopefully means that shes improving.

I really miss her, the house is just not the same without her, i thought i'd be worried but ihadnt even thought about how much i'd miss her

I think Phil kind of misses her too, they are not hugely close, they dont share beds or toys and Phil can be abit of grump, but he seems subdued. I guess he wonders where she is. At least me and my OH know where she is, it must be confusing for Phil.

We are trying to be as normal as possible for Philly, but he is getting a few extra cuddles, for my benefit just as much as his He's a very good cuddler

I will keep you all informed as soon as i hear anything. Thanks again for all your support xxx

Well, hopefully she will be fine.. as you said 'no news is good news' and no doubt Philly is feeling great with all the extra attention... keeping everything still crossed and sending more positive vibes... also to Sarah... hope all goes well on Monday x

Fingers crossed Paddy will be home with you very soon. The longest that Max has ever been at the vets was a full day - it was one of the longest days of my life.x
