We actually got sponsorship from our local community forum, that's how we got WHAM off the ground, they gave us a grant of £500. We had to fulfil a simple criteria of being for the benefit of the local community, which we are as we raise awarness of responsible dog ownership through our promotion of Microchipping, Neutering and inviting rescue's to join us in raising awareness

It was a residents group, most housing developments, Estates etc have them, you can get a list from your local council, they may also have community grants available.
