Oh vicki, what a nightmare for you both. You haven't had much luck lately have you.

Think you are totally right, what they are doing is illegal. They have to give you written warnings or make him redundant. As they are doing neither i think it could be a costly mistake.

Good luck to you both.

Oh Vicki, I've only just caught this, I'm so sorry about poor Baz, but knowing you as I do, I'm sure you'll be pinning them down somehow.

I just asked Dave and he agrees with Shona, that you can sack someone instantly for gross misconduct, but then it doesn't sound like Baz's actions would come under that anyway? It wouldn't hold up in Court would it!

Give 'em hell! So sorry.xxxx

Thanks everyone.

I sincerely hope that they learn a costly lesson. It may stop them from treating others like dirt.

I'll keep you posted, anyway - send some of those fab Dogsey vibes this way, will you?

Thanks everyone. He's trundled off to work this morning, and he's still got a smile on his face. He's trying to ignore the fact that he's being sent almost an hour's motorbike ride away, and is just rising above it.
He has feelers out for another job, but there may be a drop in pay.
Fingers crossed for my old man, please......
