Afternoon everyone. Gave the lady on reception at the garage a fright this morning. She saw Gordens's car pull onto the forecourt and me get out she looked at me sheepishly and I put two packets big packets of biscuits on the counter and said they were a thank you for sorting the window last night asap. I know it turned out to be a simple fix but I really wasn't expecting them to look at it till today or Monday. She was very grateful and said the technicians will be too admitted she thought oh no what's gone wrong now.
To be fair arranging the transport to Kings Lynn was a big thing for me saved me one more hassle having the insurance to sort was enough.
Been out spent to much on a gardening tool which pulls weeds out plus both cars needed a new wiper blade each Gorden's and the Mazda and his needed a bulb too.
So having a sit down then off to do some car cleaning and maintenance.
griff good luck with your new fella.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well.

Lynn, that is a nice thing to do...speaking as a mechanic, we do appreciate it when some recognises we have helped...used to rarely get anything off the land rover clients
Had some smashing news, my next door neighbour has passed her first year exams to be a vet. Nipped to town and Steve fetched me back, his mate chris was on and he was actually talking to me today...now theres progress

That will be handy griff having a vet next door.
Wonder if there are any biscuits left. I did buy 2 packs which in total gave 48 biscuits.

No rain forecast this morning, but it did anyway. Luckily I wasn't out as was going to watch Sharpe. Once he had again won the war for Wellington, girls went out. Been a lovely afternnon, clouding over a bit now and a coolish wind, don't mind if it rains now though
