Still cannot believe it happened - I mean I knew it would but still... was a horrible night but not her fault - but why, with no trigger, did it happen again after such a long time?

Oh well, I coped and I guess I will cope if the Monster appears again. But Pereg, oh Pereg - why did you have to have another GM after all this time?

I guess there will never be an answer as to why but you managed to cope with it and if it happens again your love for Pereg will give you the strength to cope again. More hugs to you both x

I am so sorry to read this Malka.

Pereg is very lucky to have you, I am sure you will cope, it is what you do.
I think some times you will never know what triggers this dreadful monster off.

Take care Malka and try to get some sleep, sending huge hugs to you both
xxxx

This is awful for you both. Every day you dread and when they are free for a while it lulls you into a false sense of security then wham, back to square one.
Look after yourself 'cos Pereg needs her mum to be strong.

Malka, oh hell, just when I recall you were writing not so long ago about her not having an incident for such a long time. You have a perfect right to ask "Why now" and I just wish there was an answer for you, but despite many scientific advances there's still a lot we don't know. Thinking of you today.

Here's hoping that because she 'recovered' so well after the seizure that it was a one off. Everything crossed here for her and your sanity

She is still not right. Had her Pb at 7am and 3pm as normal - had a late "wet" meal as she has that when she asks for it - no point in giving her food when she does not ask for it but then that is just Pereg.

And she is now pacing and whining and nagging me again but I know she cannot be hungry but her brain seems to still be in the post-ictal mode.

If it was a one-off, why?

If there was a trigger then what was it?

Nothing different so no discernible trigger.

Guess Ram was right when he said it was "just one of those unknown things".
