Vomiting around once a week?

It started with travel sickness now my 4 year old staffy x is always vomiting, whether its just white slimey bile or food. I'd say she does it atleast once a fortnight sometimes weekly. I'm scared to death to take her to see a vet as I had to have my 14 year old pts 2 years ago after they misdiagnosed a mass tumour for 18 months.. She's right in herself I'm just worried sick as this morning she vomited her food back up and straight after yellow bile came up. Then tonight she's vomited her food back up (wasn't going to feed her but she got to her dish before me) she usually burps and lipsmacks a lot which makes me think acid reflux? But could be anything.. Looking for honest opinions.. Please

If she was my dog, I'd get her checked at the vet, especially with becoming more frequent. It's probably something and nothing but best to be checked. Hope all goes ok

Well she was vomiting at 1am and now she's vomiting yellow bile this morning. Been trying to ring the vets but they don't open until 8:30 so hope they can get her in ASAP. Worried sick infact I'm starting to feel sick this morning and my partner also had an upset stomach. Can sickness bugs be passed from canine to human or vice versa?

I read an article last year that said the norovirus can be transmitted between humans and dogs.

http://www.examiner.com/article/rese...eople-and-dogs

I had this bug in the UK last year - it was not a MILD condition! It was blerdy awful. I think you'd know if you had that. I got it after visiting Royal Bath Hospital for screening. Didn't read until afterwards that it was raging round that hospital or I'd have stayed away.

Just had her at the vets he's gave her 3 injections and if she's Sick after them today she may need an xray on her stomach incase she has ingested something that she's not meant to. Fingerss crossed the injection works, hate seeing her poorly. She was hit by a car last year so I'm always worried something bad is going to happen to her

Oh fingers and everything else crossed here for her.

I did wonder about her eating something inedible. Did the vet say what the injections were? Maybe to get some fluids down her or anti emetic or antibios or what?

He didnt say what the injections were and I forgot to pick up the reciept. He said that the injections would or should stop her from vomiting. Im going to get my partner to call in when he finishes work and ask for the reciept to be printed off so I know what shes had, Forgot to ask for it when I paid!
He did say she was well hydrated and to give her something light later on today like rice + chicken.
She has no diarrhea with the sickness, normal poops. So hope its something that goes away asap. Would hate for her to have to have an operation to remove something shes normally quite good and doesnt eat anything she shouldnt (unless its horse poo!)
