At 3 years old I thought my last Lurcher had stopped chewing and invested in a new carpet for the hall
Oh no. I came home from a relatively quick shopping trip one day to find my newly laid hall carpet in a chewed mess in the middle of the hall. She had pulled it away from all the gripper stuff around the edges and rolled it into a soggy mess!

my old lurcher was a serial chewer when i first got him. after 2 years i thought he'd grown out of it and left him and my friends staffy x for a couple of hours. came home and they had quite literally eaten my sofa. it started life as a chesterfield but they completely ripped it apart. i just wish i'd taken a photo of it!
