Thanks everyone, there is quite a varied opinion response. I have the correct e-mail address and mobile phone nunber but in just under a month since we had to let Bob go, I can see from the email responses we have received from the new owners that is what has taken place as GSD-Sue and hihosilver have replied, here are all the emails that we have sent and received and yes my wife wants him back and I miss him: Bob as settle down quite well and I don't think it would be in his intrest to up root him again. You did put him on the net. For him to go to a good home and I believe he could'nt have gone to a better home than mine. Sorry you are missing him but I feel that I can offer him a better
life, as he is very energetic and fast and wants more runs off the lead than just walks. And I must inform you that I have changed is name to Charlie and he responds to
it very well.

Hi, glad to know he has settled down. To be quite honest we have made a terrible mistake in letting Bob go. Michelle is broken hearted, cannot sleep and cannot eat. She is in a bad way - crying all the time! We have had him since he was seven weeks old and had him for 12 months. Would in view of the state of Michelle's health and in the name of God and all compassion consider letting us have him back and we would reimburse your expenses. - There are plenty of hairy lurchers like Bob looking for rescue if you want one like Bob (we have several addresses). She has started working part time permanently so my ill health does not come into it. It is no offence to you but we both miss him so much you would believe it and Michelle will never get over losing him - she is making herself very ill. We were never able to have children and our whole life has revolved around our dogs. Again, I cannot empress enough all this and for my part, I am thinking about him all the time. I too will never get over this. I am pleading and begging you to let us have him back.
Kind regards

hello, We are really concerned that you haven't answered our e-mail and phone calls. Is everything ok because we are getting really worried. If Bob has run off or if anything else has happened such as you are not getting along with him please let us know. We will be in the area on business shortly.
Steve and Michelle

Hi to the three of you - seeing how much you took to Bob you might be interested in checking out this website -
nicola@jimgreenwood.co.uk. It's run by a couple who's life revolves around lurchers who look just like bob. They offer socialisation and training but it's just interesting to have a look at the site and see all the lovely lurchers! Forgot to ask - was Bob ok in the car - he's never travelled that far before & did he settle down when you went to bed. Have fun with him this week!!
Regards, Stephen and Michelle
