He’s a 3 year old Siberian Husky, who is looking for a new home because his previous family no longer wanted him because of his snappy behaviour towards children.

Although Spirit dislikes children and will try to keep out of their way, he adores adults, and strangers are always warmly welcomed. He is toilet trained, knows basic commands, is responsive and is currently learning manners. He craves human companionship, this boy hates being left alone, his new owner will need to be at home for most of the day, have plenty of time on their hands and continue working on his separation anxiety.

Spirit gets on very well with other dogs, he loves nothing more than meeting up and playing with other dogs in the park. He would like to find a home with another dog for company. His second love is toys and he will happily pester you for a game. He also loves his comfort, preferring to sleep on sofas and human beds. An active dog, who providing he gets plenty of exercise outdoors will be very calm indoors; he will need a minimum of 1-2 hours of off lead exercise in the park daily.

Spirit’s experienced new owners will have owned Huskies before, he cannot be homed with children or young visiting children. He will make a loving and devoted companion.

Spirit is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.

Don't worry Spirit is not at risk nor are children when he's exercised off lead.
He's only ever snapped twice (not bitten), both times were at the young children in his previous home, both occasions were a result of teasing which he had sadly suffer since was a pup. For this reason we would rather not home him around children, purely for his sake. Children approaching him are not at risk.
