Just a quick update.

The sponsored walk is going to be 2nd or 3rd week in January (exact date yet TBC) and will be a fancy dress walk across the Forth Road Bridge.

The rescue centre are then hopeful that this (together with donations already given) will raise enough and that the op can go ahead at the end of January/beginning of February.

Thank you once again to all those that have contributed - the rescue centre have been (nicely) surprised that people they don't even know have been happy to help.

They are also looking for a foster home for him until the op..they would prefer him to go back to them for aftercare following the op and 'rehabiliation' (ie coping with being able to hear).

So, if anyone knows of anyone who may be willing to look after him for 4 or 5 weeks, please let me know.

Unfortunately Stumpy is not keen on him so he can't come and stay with us.

I'm not sue yet, it will depend on when it is. I might also work at the rescue on the day so that the lady who runs it can go along.
