Yaktrax Ice Grips.

Some friends came round last night for a few drinks and one of the girls was wearing these. She swore by them for walking in the snow and ice!

I'm going to buy a pair and thought I'd share incase anyone else was finding it almost impossible to walk on the pavements at the moment without doing a Looney Tunes comedy wobble!

Yeah, it's only been snowing for a few days and already I'm a bit sick of trying to walk the dogs round the block without going ar$e over tit!

I bought some yesterday as a stocking filler for my mum, she has had a knee and hip replacement, suffers from arthritis and is terrified of slipping over, at least this way she may be able to get out a bit during the bad weather, its reassuring to hear the positive comments!
Mum may well be getting them posted to her as an early prezzie!!

HI,
I was looking for the yaktrax online as my Bichon loves the snow and wants his walk! But with the terrible weather they seemed to sell out everywhere. I came across the Stabilicers which seem to be an American product too and they were the same price as the Yaktrax Walker and I'm delighted with them. You can walk on icy footpaths and roads and not have to worry about slipping. Yes you can't wear them indoors but when you are walking in snow you kick off your boots at the door anyway!

One website I'd recommend as they have the Stabilicers in Stock is [Link removed] but I'm sure there are others out there too.

No excuse for not walking the dog in snow and ice!

All the ice and snow has now gone from around here, and my Yaktraks arrived today.

Timing is everything.....
