She has been in rescue waiting for a forever home since January 2009!!!!!

Do you know how Amba is with dog savvy cats?

I've had a lady ask me today to help find her a cat/child friendly dog up to springer size that enjoys exercise as she has just lost her labrador.

She has cats and a grandchild due soon.

If she is serious about rehoming it would be better if she completes our online homing questionnaire and then our rehomer can match to her circumstances and chat through which dogs are most suitable. The questionnaire is on this link: https://rescueremedies.wufoo.com/forms/r7x3s5/

Our website has a tab at the top which is marked "Live Forum" and our forum is updated daily and has all the dogs we currently have ... approx. 70 on it.

"We walked Amba together with Gizmo today. Both were very keen on playing together and got on well. Gizmo kept trying to get closer and closer to the Princess and I'm sure he would have tried even harder had he seen how beautiful she is.

This dog is a little gem. How much longer will she have to wait for her new home"?

"Amba was not keen on walking today so we had lots of cuddles instead, along with the ear game!

Amba really needs a break from kennel life - are you able to offer her a foster home for a little while?

I keep checking this thread hoping to see her adopted. She is absolutely lovely and If I were on the same continent, I would adopt her. Poor baby! Hope someone takes note of her soon!

Here is an update Amba was walked by Wendy (one of our volunteers):

Had such a wonderful time with Princess Amba yesterday, at first she wasnt keen to walk, so we sat in the wet field and I told her stories of forever homes, where one day she would become a princess, she sat there putting her front paws on my arms, listening intently.

We had a wonderful time, and guess what I am such a princess, Wendy could not resist and took me out twice, I was as good as gold, just sulked a bit as I wasnt allowed in stream, but got another story and lots of cuddles and kisses instead, which I really really love.

I just LOVE this dog! I so wish I was in the UK, I'd adopt her in a heart beat. Such a lovely girl.
