Awww what a shame that she howled - well look on the bright side at least she hasn't destroyed anything (except your neighbours nerves ) It does sound a bit funny that if you have her injections today that she can go in kennels on Wednesday but then again I don't really know much about kennel cough jabs.

It's not a jab its a squirt up the nostril and I think it is effective almost immediately

Well at least she didn't destroy anything, that must have been a relief. You seem to have a very understanding neighbour - could you not try just one or two days to see if she will settle, maybe give your neighbour a key just in case.

Thanks for that trouble

shaza - Yeah I would like to give her a key but if she lets Roxy out by accident then she wont be able to get her back in. (Roxy usually comes in no probs) but if she doesn't it will be a disaster.

I was going to suggest the same. The fact your neighbour has made the offer shows she is more than willing, how about a bit of them 'getting used to each other' over the weekend?

So glad Roxy was a good girl for you today, a shame she howled though. A radio might help with that, unless you did leave one on and it didn't.

No she went one better that that - she left the telly on so she could watch daytime TV
