Birthday Ride

Just off for an early ride with my oh, it's his birthday today and we are going for a quick blast before relatives arrive!

Anyone else got a bike ? I love it, its so exhilerating.

It makes me laugh though because after you have pulled up and removed your helmet, you see people putting hearing aids back in, glasses on, etc. Definately a thing for the over 40's.....

not been on a bike in a few weeks, don't ride, just passenger LOL, I love bikes.

A friend (one of the bouncers at work) is also a bike mech, and is trying to sell me this marauder at the mo, great bike, low enough for even me to get on and off..LOL, but it's too powerful, at 800cc for me, and he's been tweaking it too, so it's actually got more umph now.. (sigh) so even though I would love it, it's just too much of a beast for my little 4'11"...

I was a biker for 10 years, nowadays the roads in Ireland are so bad in places it would be extra hazardous! You don't see that many about.
I was a courier for a time between Croydon and London, the number of times I was called "sonny".... until I took the helmet off!

We couldn't have timed that any better could we? We were out for about 2 hours and it stayed dry. Stopped off for breakfast in Midhurst and had a wander about. Arrived home, put the bike away and then the heavens opened.

Been to buy Nige some clothes ( last time was about 20 years ago!! ) as we are going on holiday soon.

Thank you for your Birthday Wishes xxx

Happy Birthday and hope you enjoyed the ride!

We've got a trike (hence the name) as OH had an accident and can't ride two wheels anymore - just the same fun but you get stuck in traffic!

our daughter desperate to go for a spin at last year's TT

Y'know, after my post the other day asking about 'bikers on here, and the other posts, I'm wondering whether a Dogweb Rideout may have to happen soon. Hmm.......
