Agility week 2. Fudge(crossbreed)

Just got back form our 2 hour session of agility. My little legs are going to fall off and actually they are not so little. She had a whale of a time.

We warmed up by letting the dogs have another go on the equipment from last week. We then began to link pieces of equipment together in a straight run. Fudge was really good and followed my instruction well. The only times when she messed up was when I was unclear in my commands.

Then, the trainer linked several pieces with changes of direction which meant she had to respond to where I was and follow to the next piece of equipment. Not once did she trot off to play with other dogs.

We had a couple of new pieces to do today. a higher A frame and a see-saw. She was straight over the A frame and only missed one contact. The see-saw will come with time.

She definately slowed down by the end of the session. She is not really a wet weather girl but she worked really hard and only made a few mistakes(mine really) in the whole session.

I am very proud of my little Fudgeley...we had great fun.

Glad she (and you) are still enjoying it - missed my session last night due to the bank holiday.

It is hard work running and thinking all at once!

Well done Fudge - keep at it - amazed you are doing the see-saw already !!

And directional changes too! Go Fudge!

sounds great, once again I am sooo jealous
If you and Fudge keep progressing at the rate you've started, I can imagine seeing you both on the TV in years to come

Well done, sound like you are making brilliant progress!

I so miss agility, I used to adore doing that years ago when I lived in Grimsby. They don't have it anywhere here close enough to travel to sadly, wish they did as I'd love to do it again.
