They asked why I wanted an appointment (they always do), and she said unfortunately, thats the earliest they can do.

Hevvur - stop beating yourself up. Dogs will be dogs and sometimes they act out of character. It wasn't something you could have predicted.

You have done everything in your power to help the lady find her dog. What breed is it BTW? I am sure she appreciates everything you are doing to help.

As someone else has already said, get onto DogLost and get the little dog's details posted on there - that site is amazing at helping find lost dogs.

as others have said try logging the details of the little dog with doglost. they are brilliant. have you looked under bushes, trees etc. cos if its scared it may find somewhere to hide? just an idea.

i cant believe you cant get into the vets til saturday. i can ring mine up and get an appointment for the same day most of the time esp if an emergency.

dont beat yourself up about it though. you have done all you can to help. x

We look everywhere - tramped through the long grass/in bushes/under cars etc.
One of the local dog wardens who I called also came out and walked the whole park looking for her.

Normally I can get an appt the same day, but I was wondering if they want me to see a certain vet...I was put on hold after I told them why I wanted an appt, and never been put on hold before.

I have just passed on the DogLost phone number so they can give all their details, as I don't know anything about them.

Her daughter is going back out to search again, and I've told them to call me if they need any help, or if they find her.

I don't think I can do much more though

So sorry to hear about this Hevvur.
It really does sound out of character for Teagan.
Hugs to you & T, and the little Jack and it's family I hope it turns up very soon.

N xx

There but for the Grace of God go all of us {{{Hugs}}}

Dogs are animals and no matter how well we feel we know them they can do things out of the blue.

One of mine knocked somebody over once and I felt so bad about. Just stop and think for a moment you aren't a bad person infact you are being MUCH more responsible than many people would be.
