That is actually one rather large scooter, far larger than my previous one and TBH way OTT for my needs, but hey ho who cares, and one not so large dog who never gets on it and only did so because I wanted a photo of her standing beside it!

I did ask someone to take a photo of me on the scooter and Pereg by the side of it, but he sort of missed us and took a photo of some olive trees instead!

I do live in a rather nice place...

I think Pereg was saying "hurry up mom, I want to go for a gallop"!

Incidentally, on the "Bike-a-Buddy" thread someone asked if Pereg was in danger of getting under my wheels, so if I might explain something. The photo shows the red end of her leash where it is looped around the canopy frame at the back. There is a cross bar immediately under it so the leash cannot slip down.

Her leash is then between the arm and backrest of the seat [the photo shows the arm raised and the seat slightly swivelled towards the pavement for ease of getting on and off] and clipped onto her harness, so that Pereg walks or runs to the side, mid-way between front and rear wheels.

Don't forget we drive on the right here so that is the nearside. It means she cannot get in front of the front wheels, nor can she get behind the rear wheels. My dog trainer sorted out the best place for the leash and how to put it so that Pereg was 100% safe. Her long training lead for when we are on the fields is also fixed at the same spot and is tucked into the box at the back when she is on her regular leash. Both are permanently fixed as I seem to collect leashes [actually I think the leashes breed!]

If you could see and hear the excitement when we go round to the side of my bungalow to get The Silver Monster out, well it really is something

Nothing is too good for my girl. I just love her so very very much.
