I remember seeing this on the news a while ago and the dog seemed to cope incredibly well with it's disability. It was very happy and wagging it's tail.
As long as the dog is happy and contented then I think fair enough, as soon as the dog starts to suffer then enough is enough.

It does look awful, but then you don't miss what you've never had do you?!
I saw the video on TV and this dog was just toddling along like nobodys business!
The owners were going to have it PTS when it was born but didn't have the heart, then as it grew it learnt to walk upright! Amazing I think!
