He really is a fabby boy. I bet he would love to stay with your gang Claire If that isn't possible though, I do hope he finds a brilliant home.

A prospective home for Alfie has fallen through. He would have been left alone for 6 hours a day and we pointed out that was not a good idea.
So I would be grateful if peeps could spread his details again?

He`s a lovely boy, dog friendly, happy, very bright, needs bringing on. Home check will be done, no cats or small children. Anywhere in the country considered, currently in Essex.

Hope you find a wonderful home for him, but bet he is as happy as can be with you at the moment.
I will keep my ears open for something for him.
Good luck

He is really gorgeous, so I can't see there being a problem in his finding a great home. Until then though, he will be more than happy at your place I am sure

This isn`t the right home for him. I already have one youngster to bring on and since I don`t drive I`m having to leave a dog at home every day as I can`t physically manage 4 (I know my limits!) .
He needs to be somebody`s little dog and blossom with them.

Haha just seen this! I wouldn't have too much trouble persuading hubby if 1) Alfie weren't so far away and 2) He would work sheep.

As it is, I think we have enough dogs for the time being

We`ve had 2 people interested.
The first bumbled in after having the home check from the RSPCA etc and then wondered if he`d be OK with his 2 elderly cats... and he didn`t want a collie.
The second one sounded promising ... until further investigation revealed that actually the dog was for her young teenage daughter and would be left from 8 till 4 each day... but they had a trainer coming in once a week so that would be OK
So...
the boy still needs a home.
He has calmed right down and is a nice little dog. A pet home would be fine provided he got enough exercise and company.
