do you have a cage/crate for your car?

If so where did you get it from?

We have a peugeot 407 SW which is an estate car but the boot is quite low and we are having probs getting one to fit.

And how much did you pay for it have been quoted nearly £600 for one

Ebay has some at £100 but need to re measure

Any other ideas as I need to transport 2 GSDs at times

thanks

WE have a dog guard and a tailgate guard...so there is a guard and gate so they can't leap out of the estate. It's the best dog product we ever invested in as it keeps them safe and ensures they don't take it upon themselves to leap out when we are opening the door. We got the tailgate guard from Barjo it was about £150, if you google Barjo the site will come up.

Yep , that sounds about right, if you are having a custom made one...mine is a "GAURDSMAN" and it was not far off that price, a few yrs ago.

You can get cheaper makes , but even then it will be expensive, if you are having them custom made to fit your car...

I've got a made to measure Lintran box which cost £510(I do have a Subaru 2002 model Impreza 5 door auto & no one else makes the solid crates for them)

Keeps the dogs warm in winter & cool in summer & has locking doors, a removable divider & escape hatch. If I had opted for one door with would take a GSD

My OH has a Peugeot 407 estate too, and we bought a universal guard for £20 from argos. It did need a little modification to make it a snug fit...but for the price...we havent had any troubles with it. xxx
