Just to ask everyone having problems with liver - do you know what kind of liver you are feeding?

Cain will eat lambs liver but it's expensive, he really likes ox liver which is what I feed regularly.

He'll only eat pig liver under sufferance and after a lot of drama

He absolutely point blank refuses to eat chicken liver. I can't use Prize Choice liver because it's poultry liver.

I've found most dogs dislike pork offal. Don't know of other dogs also hate chicken liver. Anyhoo, just to suggest that if yours are being picky about liver, try it from a different animal

It was ox liver that they don't like, and since I had bought 4 whole ones, it was quite a lot to get through. A 5 minute blast in the microwave seems to do the job, except it stinks the kitchen out. They are not keen on other types of liver either, but ox is cheapest as it works out at £1 per kilo.

Either chicken or turkey liver. I buy it fresh and Pereg has her share of it raw - my share I flash fry! I would get ox liver as I love it but it is very expensive here.
