How much prize choice tripe?

Iv been wondering about adding some prize choice tripe or chicken to my dogs food [the stuff from pets at home freezer]
I just wondered if anyone knows how much to feed per day for a 25kg dog?

Do you want to feed as a tasty bite added to kibble or a whole meal?

If it's as a whole meal the usual is 2 or 3% of body weight per day which I'd divide by 2 as you are feeding kibble as well.

If you choose tripe DON'T cook it it pongs

If your dog is usually on a kibble, probably just add a bit of tripe as a "topper" initially. I don't think I would give tripe as a whole meal to start with, introduce it gradually. If you are careful initially you will probably have no "loose bowell problems"
If you eventually feed the tripe as a meal, I would use a good quality wholemeal mixer with it rather than the kibble - approx. fifty fifty for each. The tripe can be regarded as the "meat" and the wholemeal biscuit mixer as the "carbohydrate".
